Jill Hope says: "I am absolutely delighted with the result, every day that goes past we see Labour down, Lib Dems up and the Conservatives going nowhere.

Milton Keynes and surrounding villages are part of the South East Euro Constituency, and on 4th. June they elected two Liberal Democrat MEPS, Sharon Bowles and Catherine Bearder.

The election saw Labour being pushed in fourth place behind the Lib Dems, UKIP and the Conservatives.

Lib Dem Shadow MP Jill Hope says: "I am absolutely delighted with the result, every day that goes past we see Labour down, Lib Dems up and the Conservatives going nowhere. This bodes well for the General Election which I do believe will be very close. More and more people are telling me they will never vote Labour again. It is very clear that the General Election when ever it comes will be a close fight here between myself and the Conservatives."
