Council Leader Isobel McCall accepts invitation by Cllr Sam Potts to a site visit in Stoke Goldington

Stoke Goldington has flooded for the second time in a month only a few days after Lib Dem Councillor Sam Potts got an agreement into what happened the first time -

Sam is now calling for a full scale independent enquiry. Sam Potts who was on the scene helping people to salvage furniture.said: "It was one of the worst scenes I have seen in my life.

Sam Potts says "Something has gone really wrong here. I am speaking to the cabinet member responsible for Emergency Planning and calling on the council to finance fully independent enquiry. Not for the blame game but to find out what we need to do to make sure that people in Stoke Goldington can go to work and return to find water coming from their taps and not through their front doors.
