Rayner launches construction of Extracare Village

Claire, sporting an all-gold outfit, explained that she had joined the Liberal Democrats because they are the only party that is committed to providing free personal care for older people.

Claire Rayner, famous 'agony aunt', visited Milton Keynes on 8 July to celebrate the start of work on the Extracare Retirement Village at Willen Park. In her speech to over 100 older people, Claire said:

"Liberal Democrat, Milton Keynes Council is to be congratulated for this initiative. It's a giant step forward to provide more choice and offer greater independence and well-being to older people."
