LIB DEM REACTION TO GRIFFIN ARREST

Sam Potts, Liberal Democrat, responding to the charging of BNP Leader Nick Griffin with four offences of using words or behaviour intended or likely to stir up racial hatred, said:

"It is important that the police take issues of racial hatred seriously, wherever and whenever they occur.

"This is now a police matter and due process should take its course."
