Brian should come clean

Sam Potts has today openly criticised Brian White, the current MP for North East Milton Keynes, position on top up fees. Speaking after the vote was taken

Sam Potts said:

"This is becoming a little too familiar with Mr White, he was quite clear until very recently that he was opposed to top up fees - but when realising the vote was close he voted for them. Just like he did with Gulf War II.

"Brian can not be in both camps it is time for him to come clean - if he is in favor of shackling students with debt, he should have said so all along, if he is against students leaving University with a debt that in some cases are larger than a mortgage he should have voted with the Liberal Democrats and opposed this bill.

"Every single Liberal Democrat MP voted against top up fees, they were joined by some MPs of all other party's. If both Milton Keynes Labour MPs and the Conservative MPs had voted with the Liberal Democrats - the top up fees motion would have been lost.

"Brian must take the brunt of his total hypocrisy on this issue.
