Labour could make you pay ₤70 a year to have your bin emptied.

Labour Loony Plans include

• ₤1 charge for every bag of rubbish

• Bin charges by weight

Labour plans to make local residents pay for putting out their rubbish has been condemned by Liberal Democrat Sam Potts.

Speaking today Sam Potts said "This is a really rubbish idea it will lead to a fly-tippers charter and make Labours streets even dirtier".

"Labour must abandon this silly idea and listen to the legitimate concerns of local people".
