Sam Potts has joined local residents in their anger at Labour's plans to close 3,000 post officers and sack 40,000 postmen, scrap second deliveries and slash Milton Keynes postal service.

Sam Potts said "The Labour Government seems determined to destroy the Royal Mail as we know it. Now local post offices are under threat from closure, If Labour's proposals go ahead, it will be yet another nail in the coffin of our community

Sam went on to say "This crazy plan will mean additional hardship and pressure for the elderly, infirm, those without transport and the unemployed"
