A Personal Message from Councillor Sam Potts
Welcome to my web site. I would like to thank all those residents of Ouse Valley for their support in the Milton Keynes Council Elections. I am proud to represent this area as your Liberal Democrat Councillor. I pledge to serve you all to the best of my ability, and to fight to protect our villages.

New food and garden waste service for the villages

A new service from the Liberal Democrat run MK Council will see the first deliveries of food and garden waste wheeled bins to our villages in August, with the first collections starting in September. The bins will be delivered over a four week period.

Victory for East of M1 Campaigners

The campaign by the Liberal Democrat-run Milton Keynes Council to stop government plans to build a town of 5,600 houses east of the M1 has been victorious and the Government has completely withdrawn the proposals.

Fighting to keep your Council Tax down

As usual the Annual Milton Keynes Council Budget has taken a great deal of time for me and other councillors as well as many council staff. My personal commitment at the election in 2007 was that I would never vote for a council tax increase above pensioner's inflation. This year pensioner's inflation was around 5%.

Sam visits the fire station

To find out for himself how the fire service operate locally members of the Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Fire Authority, Councillors Sam Potts (Sherington Ward) and Alan Richards (Linford North Ward) visited Newport Pagnell Fire Station.
